Chicken Makhani

A rich, slow-cooked curry inspired by Delhi’s iconic flavors. Known for its velvety tomato base and tender chicken, this dish is a favorite among curry lovers worldwide.

Ingredients:
- 5 tbsp (about 50gm) JJ’s Magic™ Makhani
- 2 tbsp ghee or butter
- 1.5 lb boneless chicken (bite-size pieces)
- 1 cup (250 ml) half & half
- ½ cup water
- 1-3 gm fenugreek leaves (optional)
Let’s Cook
1. Make the Base
- Add the Makhani mix, half & half, butter and
- water to a pan. Mix until smooth.
- Add chicken and mix well to coat.
- Optional: Add crushed dried fenugreek leaves.
- (Kasuri Methi 1-3 gm)
2. Slow Simmer Curry
- Cover and cook on low heat for 50–60 minutes.Stir occasionally.
- If needed, add a little water to adjust consistency. Cook additional 5-10 min.
3. Finish & Serve
- Turn off heat. Garnish with saffron & raisins.
- Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
MAKE IT YOUR WAY
- Add cream for richer taste
- Adjust spice with salt or chili powder
