A rich, slow-cooked curry inspired by Delhi’s iconic flavors. Known for its velvety tomato base and tender chicken, this dish is a favorite among curry lovers worldwide.

Ingredients:

  • 5 tbsp (about 50gm) JJ’s Magic™ Makhani
  • 2 tbsp ghee or butter
  • 1.5 lb boneless chicken (bite-size pieces)
  • 1 cup (250 ml) half & half
  • ½ cup water
  • 1-3 gm fenugreek leaves (optional)

Let’s Cook

1. Make the Base

  • Add the Makhani mix, half & half, butter and
  • water to a pan. Mix until smooth.
  • Add chicken and mix well to coat.
  • Optional: Add crushed dried fenugreek leaves.
  • (Kasuri Methi 1-3 gm)

2. Slow Simmer Curry

  • Cover and cook on low heat for 50–60 minutes.Stir occasionally.
  • If needed, add a little water to adjust consistency. Cook additional 5-10 min.

3. Finish & Serve

  • Turn off heat. Garnish with saffron & raisins.
  • Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.

MAKE IT YOUR WAY

  • Add cream for richer taste
  • Adjust spice with salt or chili powder
  • For intense flavor add 1-2 extra tbsp of JJ’s Magic™ Makhani
